Test Tessera Tracks before it ships
Tessera Tracks early access testing. Open to anyone who wants in.
Join
On Android, joining swaps your install for the test build the next time the Play Store updates it, and your data stays where it is. On iPhone you'll install Apple's TestFlight app first, which is where test builds live. Both are free, and you can leave whenever you like.
What this is
Tessera Tracks is a mixer for part tracks: every voice of an arrangement on its own fader, so you can bring yours forward and learn it in the balance you want.
It hasn't had a public release yet, so early access is the app for now. Expect things to move around between builds, and expect to find rough edges. That is what you are here for.
What I need from you
Tell me when something breaks, and roughly what you were doing. That's the whole job. “The list screen went blank after I renamed something” is worth more than a bug report with a stack trace, because it tells me where to look.
Report from inside the app: Account → About → Report an Issue. It sends the version, your device and your account along with your note, which usually saves a round of “which build were you on?”. If the app won't open far enough for that, use the contact form.
About your data
Your songs and mixes live on your device. Ensembles you belong to keep their shared arrangements in the cloud. I do my best to make sure a test build never damages any of it, and most never come close, but that risk is the one real cost of being a tester. Worth knowing before you join.
Leaving
Android: open the same Play link and choose to leave the programme, then reinstall from the store to get the public build. iPhone: delete the TestFlight copy and install Tessera Tracks from the App Store as normal.
